For 50 years, record-breaking, colorful, inspiring: That and so much more defines the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON. Along the course, the capital is transformed into a gigantic party mile. It is THE sporting highlight for running enthusiasts. Those looking for moving moments will find them at the 50th anniversary edition.
Running and doing good at the same time: As the official charity partner of BMW BERLIN-MARATHON we are delighted to offer 100 charity race entries in support of our children's aid organization Children for a better World!
With a minimum donation of 1,000 € you can secure one of the popular charity race entries. With this activity, we aim to strengthen several hundred children and adolescents in Berlin growing up in poverty by supporting them in confidently shaping their lives and by empowering them to break out of the cycle of poverty. As BMW BERLIN-MARATHON completely waives any fees, your donation will benefit 100% poor children in Berlin.
RUN FOR CHILDREN stands for the joint charity engagement of the children's aid organisation Children for a better World and the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON in collaboration with BERLIN-MARATHON legend Uta Pippig and the Take The Magic Step Foundation™.
Why should you participate? You...

get the opportunity to take part in a training run in Berlin.
get to know the other participants at the latest on the eve of the marathon at a pre-race party with carbo-loading.
What will your donation be used for?
Four partner organisations of Children for a Better World in hotspot neighbourhoods are supported: Kreuzberger Musikalische Aktion, Drugstop KARUNA, Stadtvilla Global and MädchenSportZentrum Kreafithaus.

If all 100 places are allocated, 50,000 meals and more than 45 discovery activities can be realised, thus sustainably strengthening several hundred poor children in Berlin.
How to secure your running spot:
Please complete the registration form below.
The first 100 people completing the registration form will receive a confirmation email with our bank details and a request for donation.
After we have received your donation, we will send you a registration code by email.
Important note: Completing the registration form does not confirm your charity race entry. Please do not transfer your donation until you have received an offical confirmation email from Children for a better World. Without the confirmation email, we cannot provide you the race entry.

Children for a better World: Fighting child poverty in Germany for 30 years
In Germany, 2.8 million children grow up in poverty – almost every fifth child. For 30 years we have been fighting the consequences of child poverty and supporting over 4,600 children at 77 locations across Germany with our CHILDREN lunch table and the CHILDREN discoverer activities – day by day. 4 of the 72 locations are in Berlin.
